I quite like this stuff. There are worse tastes and I don't have problems with mixing it, a simple shaker is sufficient. I hold the shaker upside down and don't shake vigorously, though. That way, you get the water into the dry corners. Easy does it after a minute or so.
I have the impression that the protein works well. Regarding slow release proteins, you could of course eat your lean cottage cheese bowl with broccoli or palm hearts or tomatoes every night before you go to bed, but I think that's even more expensive and, in the long term, disgusting than this drink. I have always taken the chocolate flavour, for more than half a year now. Rating:

I have been bodybuilding for 10 years and have recently tried Dymatize Elite 12 Hour Protein. To be honest I was not happy with the product.Firstly the consistency of the powder is so fine that if you try scooping it out of the container into a shaker, the powder blows all over the place and makes a big mess.Secondly because the powder is so fine it does not mix well and even when put into a shaker for a few minutes it makes many lumps.Thirdly I didn't like the taste,it had a very chalky, metallic taste.I ordered the Banana Nut flavor. The cost of Dymatize Products makes it a bargain though if you don't care about the protein shakes taste or mixability. Also found it easy to digest and didn't find bloating or gas as you do with some of the cheaper protein supplements sometimes.

I have used dymatize elite whey in the past and I've recently tried Elite 12, both products doesnt mix very well with a shaker (not as well as other brands like Scitec Nutrition, BSN...) The rich chocolate flavor smells bad, tastes very average and leaves me with a metallic taste all day.On the positive side, its one of the cheapest progressive release protein on the market. But taste is a huge factor when u drink a prot shake 2-3 times a day so I wont buy this product anymore, would rather take other more expensive alternative.

Fudge Brownie flavour is the best tasting protein I have had. Great product, good value too. 5 stars.

This product is the real deal, I have the vanilla flavour, it is a great alternative to pro peptide, mixes real easily, tastes great, Gordon Ramsey couldnt make a better shake!!

I bought this a a cheap alternative to CNP's pro-peptide and to be honest it's not a bad replacement the rich chocolate flvour is a little funky and a little bitter but never the less it's a good product with good results, got to be taken early in the morning and before you go to bed to stop you and me from losing muscle mass at night and through the day good slow releasing protiens would recommend going for the blueberry one though.. otherwise if you want the best and money isn't a problem you've got to go for CNP's Pro-peptide. but this is a good alternative. :)
