I did look at cheaper models but glad I got this one!

It mixes better than those with a 'grid' at the top. The whisk ball is awesome, I have had no lumps yet!

The lid has a proper hinge for the cap - which fits tightly so it doesn't spray everywhere. It hasn't come lose once even when thrown in my bag- unlike others I have had. Also with the hinge it wont wear out over time like those with just a plastic flap.
